About

Elegance of Fashion is a period drama and sewing blog that is run by me, Miss Elizabeth Bennet. I feature on this blog period drama reviews, banners, and tournaments. I also post some little things about the sewing projects that I work on.

I like to make my own dresses, but I absolutely love historical costuming. My favorite era is the Regency Era (1795 - 1820): I really like the style of the dresses and the accessories.

In addition to sewing, I also know how to embroider, cross stitch, tat, and crochet. I also like computers, the internet, computer and video games.

I am a big Jane Austen fan; in fact, my favorite books are Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility; I have also read Northanger Abbey and Emma, which I also like. I find that with Jane Austen's works, the stories and characters are so realistic that you could easily believe that the stories could be happening now. I also like that they teach moral lessons that could still be applied today, two hundred years later.

I also ask that as you are viewing this blog and want to post a comment, please keep it clean. I want this to be a family friendly blog, so please refrain from bad language or anything inappropriate. If you want, you can also message me through Google with any concerns; I ask again that you keep the language clean in the message. Thanks!
